I am a recent Middlebury College grad living in Winooski. I graduated with Chinese department high honors, and Magna Cum Laude. I was also a linguistics minor and have taken several classes on effective foreign language teaching practices. I graduated class of 2018.

Experience

I've studied Chinese at the most prestigious program in the country at Middlebury, completing 3 semesters worth of language pledge experience (only speaking, reading, writing, listening Chinese - no English) and completed an 80 page honors thesis in language. I studied abroad for two semesters (one in Beijing and one in Kunming, China) at Middlebury's famed schools abroad, and completed the 8-week intensive language school the summer before my sophomore year. I took all Chinese classes offered at Middlebury (through the highest level) and wrote a separate thesis while abroad about foreign language acquisition
